In the warm and supportive container of counseling, you will find peace and resilience for these challenging times. If you're experiencing stress, anxiety, disconnection, relationship problems, or depression, you've come to the right place.

For over a decade, I have helped people like you achieve wellbeing using practical tools and gentle compassion to support you with immediate or ongoing challenges. I'd love to help you.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I am offering counseling via video or phone which is covered by most health insurance plans.

What is Video Counseling?

Video counseling or telehealth refers to the use of videoconferencing or phone for therapy (rather than in-person visits at an office). Telehealth is currently being utilized by both medical and mental health practitioners to curb the spread of COVID-19. This service is covered by health insurance, just like a typical office visit.

How does it work?

We have a variety of options, using simple apps that you can access on your phone or computer. You can participate in videoconferencing from anywhere you have access to WiFi or a cell signal.

What is nature therapy?

Nature Therapy is based on the notion that humans are connected to and impacted by the natural environment, and that traditional psychotherapy can be enhanced when conducted outdoors. Nature therapy includes mindfulness and somatic (body-based) approaches. Spending time in nature has been scientifically proven to improve mood and decrease stress hormones.

How does it work?

*As the standards of precaution have changed in recent weeks regarding gathering out-of-doors, I am suspending in-person nature therapy visits until health officials allow visitations to local and state parks. Fortunately, nature therapy can also occur via video.
